Description

Tree climbing operations require specific techniques which can minimise the high risks which occur during controlled tree feeling and pruning. The choice of products and techniques must strive to combine the specific working needs of tree climbing with the safety conditions required for working at heights A – The rope can be installed directly from below through the use of a cambium saver and a cord. This way the tree climb can begin immediately incomplete safety. At the end of the operations it is then possible to remove the rope and the cambium saver, from below in this case also.

B -The choice between various operational techniques must be made taRing into consideration the peculiarities which may occur in the various situations of working in trees. During cutting operations the use of the most resistant connection elements to a chainsaw cut is essential [i.e. positioning lanyard with steel core). To favour maximum freedom of lateral movement, a harness with a mobile ventral attachment system is used.
